Why price of long span is in SQM while in local hardware they sell it per linear meter?. This is confusing. Thanks for the answer.
Hi Sir John, normally, estimators calculate the square area for them to get a % wastage markup. But, per lineal meter is used for our local hardwares, that’s how they work eversince. To get the total lineal meter, just divide the total square meter area with the commercial width (around 0.90m to 1.10m, check the units, they might use ft instead of m). Hope this helps!

I am looking for a steel truss fabricator to provide steel truss roofing for a ground floor residential building in Tarlac City..floor area is approx. 200 sq.m. Other materials to be supplied will be discussed if any party is interested.
